You can purchase the EP at the ticket window or inside the parks at any number of stores.

::yes:: There are huge sidewalk signs directing you to the stores you can purchase them at.

That said, don't stop in the front of the park...the lines will be longest in the front of the park where people FIRST SEE them being sold. Walk further back into the park.

Like macraven said, it does NOT give you at TIME to return, you show your room key at the entrance to the ride each time...whenever you want.

Do that, ride your ride, get off and go right back on again if you want. Sometimes our group (11) rides Popeye 3 or 4 times in a row...taking about a half hour total for all of them

The only ride you will not get unlimited on (just 1x per day) is the new Forbidden Journey ride at Harry Potter...well, just for now anyway. Because it's new and going to be very popular, onsite guests will only get their express once per day.

Just as a reference point--room keys have barcodes on them now. My guess is that this will be scanned for HP so they can enforce the 1x/day rule.

Can I ask please if you decide to stay on site for one day, do you get the fast pass for the day you check in and the day you check out?? Many thanks

Also will it give you fast passes for both parks on the same day??

Yes, you can use the Express entrances on both days of your stay.

For the Buy-Pass, it can also be ordered online. Isn't there a limitation on how many passes are sold each day in the park?

Bar code AND magnetic strip....wow. Wonder why the barcode too? We've had them swipe the strip at EP entrance before. MUST be because of FJ ride...only thing that makes sense. Then again, you would think they'd be able to link it using the strip?

On cruise ships they have cards with magnetic strips and bar codes as well. The magnetic strip is used for the cabin doors and if used as a charge card. The bar code is scanned when entering and leaving the ship. Maybe the bar code is faster and less error prone which would be important to get as many people as possible in a given time. The magnetic strip still would be used for the hotel room door.

This.

Plus the old mag-stripe scanners had to be stationary. The handheld ones can be moved and use a battery pack. Also, all express passes have barcodes on them. These barcodes are scanned AND the date is checked by TMs. The scanner will "buzz" if an Express pass that has already been used gets scanned again.

Will this affect Premier AP Express Plus after 4:00pm as well? With FJ I understand enforcement, but what about the other rides.

The reason I'm bring it up is that officially its once per attraction - but I've never seen it enforced nor have had my AP scanned.

Premier passes are supposed to be scanned. I've also seen many premier passholders ride over and over, getting their pass scanned each time.

FJ will have different rules, but everywhere else should be the same.

Always seems like a pot shot scanning room keys.

In the last 5 yrs we've gone, we've had our keys scanned twice. Both at Cat in the Hat of all places!

They've been checked (esp at Hulk)....but not scanned. :confused3

Maybe more consistency w/ HP opening? We'll see....

Isn't this change a relatively new one? I know it used to be unlimited and now it's only once per attraction. I thought they just changed this perk...which would make me REALLY mad!

Yes its a recent change because my jacket still states Unlimited Express. I upgraded from preferred to premier in summer 2009.

I thought as much...was the renewal cheaper this year or more expensive...like the Preferred?

unlimited express after 4 is supposed to be one of the best perks of the Premier AP.

wth? :confused3

I'd be ticked too!

Not sure. Went from flexpay to Premier so my prorate was kinda wonky.
