Hello,

We are intending to go to both of the parks at least three times.

With the express passes (not staying on site) .... do you have to pay for them daily or per week?

Does anyone know how much it will cost per person please.

Many thanks

Congrats on your trip, the express pass is daily and varies in price according to the day you go and if you visit one or both parks, from $19.99-$55.99. Visit the Universal website and plug in your dates to find the correct amount. If you're going in summer, you probably will need it. It's also only good for one ride per day on any given attraction.

If you're going to both parks at least three times, it seems like you'd easily be able to do all of the rides you wanted without waiting. Maybe wait until your last day at each park to buy the passes so you can do your favorites a few times without waiting. (I know the express pass is only once per ride, but getting there early, they can ride once before it gets crowded and then again with the express)

We really need to know your dates in order to give you the price and information about whether the crowds will necessitate the passes.

I was there a few days before Christmas and was still able to do everything in the whole park. The longest wait was about 90mins for RRR.

I'd say skip it unless you find the crowds unbearable.

I agree with the posts above. We would need a little more info about the time of your visit for the price or to advise you on getting one at all. Assuming you are there three consecutive days and are getting express passes anyway, esp in the summer, consider doing two nights at on onsite resort.

Hello,

Thanks for your help.

We will probably be going three days in total.

Not consecutive days.

We are in orlando from 1-22 august - cant remember the days exact dates we blanked out ... know we did one day per week ... does that help so you can kindly give me average price.

There will be eight of us !

So, are you saying, that if you bought the pass for one day, if you went on the simpson ride for example you can only use the pass once that day???

Many thanks again :goodvibes

I agree. Most US school are back in by mid-August. I doubt you'll need it except on a weekend.
Get there early, do a touring plan, and you'll have the must-do rides out of the way early.

Thank you all for your help :goodvibes ..... we booked to go from the 1st to hopefully keep the thunderstorms etc at bay .... but not wish booked week later so there when some of the children in florida back to school - oh well! - thanks again :goodvibes

I just wanted to say that I pre-purchased Express Passes for my family of four in the past. They were 19.99 per park, per day for my time period and I bought one for both parks. Total waste, we did not need them and only used them for 1 ride.

I was tempted to get them again for our trip comong up in two weeks. The cost is 19.99 again and after reading everyone saying to wait, I would say that is very good advice. I didn't get them and I don't think we will end up needing them. If we do, I'll go ahead and get them, but I really think we will be fine for the third and fourth week of February, mid-week.

The price for the 2-park EP on August 6th is $45.99 and on August 12th the price is $31.99. Make sure you look at the date your going and the color code will tell you how much it will cost.

Many children go back to school before Labor Day but many others go back right after Labor Day. By the first part of September, everyone should be back in school.

Thank you for that, but could you tell me if we wanted a fast pass for just one park on the above dates how much would it cost, rather than two park pass? Sorry to be a nuisance (this is where i got stuck as thought saw three prices for the one park??????)

Yes...they have gone up. The one day EP for 8/6 is now $49.99 and for 8/12 it's $39.99. :guilty:

Here is the link to the Express page...just click on "begin purchase" and you can see the calendar.

Thank you, I thought I was going mad! I could cry, that is such an increase, did not realise they did this - think outpriced it for us now since eight of us :scared1:
You can thank Mr. Potter for the increase. I guess they are trying to get every dollar they can this summer.
