We are visiting Orlando from the 10-18th and will be at US/IOA next Monday, the 13th. This will not be our first visit there and last time bought the Express Pass. Do you think it would be wise to consider buying it ahead of time or just wing it and see how the day goes. I've no idea on how crowds are now or predicted for next week so was just wondering.

BTW, my DW does not like coasters, if that makes a difference. FJ, Spiderman, and attractions along those lines she loves.

I'm going the same day and all the crowd calendars I've seen predict crowds will be light. I'd say wing it at the parks for that day. Only hiccup I could see is fitting in everything in one day. That's hard to do without Express.

Crowds should be light until Thanksgiving weekend so you should be OK w/o Express

Can this express pass be purchased if not staying on site? I have friends that are going to Disney, in their 60s, and have never been but
want to go to US or IoA. They want to eat around Universal so thinking City Walk but wondering about this Express Pass.
They have no clue what they are doing. I am the one that actually made their FP selections this morning at 7 am LOL
When they purchase the US ticket, can this Express Pass also be purchased?
Thank you.

Yes...Express is separate from park tickets and can be purchased at either park or you can purchase them together with the park tickets...whichever is easier for you. There is no discount so it doesn't really matter when/where they are purchased.

If they aren’t planning to ride, it’s a waste of money to buy them. They can buy them there if they decide they want/ need them. Nothing extra they’d need to, unlike Disney. Nothing to book or plan. They’d get their EPs then go in the clearly marked EP lines at rides c

Thank you both very much.

You can buy the ep in most of the shops in the parks.
Don't have to go to guest services to buy them.

Decide when you are there if they are needed.

Use the single rider lines when possible for shorter ride waits.
