I'm planning my first trip ever to US. I don't understand the enhanced pass option. Does it allow you unlimited line jumping or only 1x per ride per day??? Is it for all rides? Are the lines really that long to need them? We're going for 1 day next week. We have a young son who won't do thrill rides like roller coasters anyway.

The Express Pass is good for participating rides at either Islands of Adventure or Universal Studios and can be used only once per ride. The lines are long enough now that you would be better off with the EP. I think they have a two park EP but I'm not sure how much that is.

Sometime you can get lucky and your Express Pass won't get scanned or marked.

But.......If it does get marked then quickly rub some saliva over the marking and your good to go (again).:rolleyes1

Uh, no.

If you want unlimited express you can stay onsite. The express you purchase is for one time on each ride and show.

PLEASE don't do this....this is bad and is disrespectful of the system. Please don't ruin it for everyone that plays by the rules. When I can't stay onsite, I love my EP, but I would hate for it to be taken away because people are abusing the system.

So if I am staying onsite (HRH) is there a one time per ride limit withthe EP?

The onsite hotel express gives you unlimited express so you can ride more than once. It is different than the express you can buy.

The ride attendants that we saw marking the EP used a ballpoint pen. No rubbing that off.

I heard that for some tricky people they mark it off in permanent marker on their forehead, just in case.

Seems like it may be better for the attendants to have a hole punch and punch the cards then there is no way to alter.

They used to scan the express pass but I haven't seen that in a while. I'm not sure why they abandoned that.

Now if only Universal will come up with a combination of the 2 above suggestions for people who listen to GreyStr0ke.

Actually I took it as we wouldhave two choices. 1) Punch peoples foreheads and mark the pass with permanent marker, or 2) punch peoples passes and mark their foreheads with permenant marker.

I wonder if there are any volunteers out there to see if this would be effective? GreyStr0ke?
