Explorers hotel swimming policy

Hi,

Thinking of booking explorers for October half term. (Previously stayed Magic Circus, Radisson and Newport Bay)I've read some things re swim shorts in the pools not being allowed but haven't found anything definitive. Does anyone know experienced this? My dh has swim shorts with the mesh inside that sit just above the knee, are they unacceptable? Are the more traditional swim shorts allowed (sits on thigh) or do they insist on the old fashioned speedo type? How do they police this?

Shorts are not allowed in the Explorer's I'm afraid. Its French regulation speedos *eek* and there is a machine selling them poolside. The Dream Castle DOES allow shorts, but the Explorer's is now owned by a strict company who enforce the rules. Maybe one of the others would be a better idea if your DH is uncomfortable wearing them

Yes it is much to my sons disgust! Same rules at the Magic a Circus too. Only saving grace is that everybody is in the same boat!

If Magic Circus has the same rule, it was not enforced on our last 2 stays here so maybe they are less strict here?
