Explorer on sale at Big Lots

I found the Walt Disney World Explorer Second Edition for only $5.99 at our local Big Lots store. They only had two copies left so I am sad to report that they are all out of them in Columbus, IN but maybe someone can find some at their stores.

It will be fun for our grandkids to play with and dream about their next vacation. Might even get dh to play with it a bit and he is scared to death of the computer. OK, I'll probably use it too, I am just a big kid at heart too.

What all can you do with that Explorer software? Is it like a virtual tour? Or is it propaganda for booking a vacation?

hyzdufan, I have not had time to play with this version but the old version I have is a virtual tour of DW. They sell for about $30 or more at Disney World. I got my old one as a premium for booking a package years ago. I think this is a great way to get your kids interested in planning for an upcoming trip. Lots of extra info also. I am sure that we already know much of it from the boards but for $6 I think it is extremely neat.
