ok... so i'm sure you all get the.. "Disney? AGAIN?.... but.... why?" generally off people who've NEVER been... and i was wondering how you explain *it* to them??

me? my faveourite thing to say is... "remember how it feels when you're 5 and it's xmas eve or xmas morning?? well THAT'S how it feels ALL DAY in Disney!" oh.. i'm welling up just thinking about it... lol....

A friend of mine has a quote about color guard, which I love. I think it goes the same for Disney, too. "Disney. To those that get it, no explanation necessary, To those that don't, no explanation possible." When my friends ask say "You're going to Disney?....AGAIN?" I usually just say "yep, what can I say, I love it THAT much!" They usually just laugh at me, roll their eyes, then change the subject. Either that or they walk away from me and I just stick my tongue out at them (we need a *stick tongue out smilie!) and call them a jerk. (My friends and are very nice to eachother, can't you tell?) LOL. But really, I think that quote sums it up pretty nicely.

That quote does some it up exactly. I too hear the comments all the time "Disney again?" or "Why don't you try going somewhere else??" Etc.. My answer is "why?" Really, I have such a great time at Disney, I have absolutely no desire to go elsewhere right now. It's the only place that my kids & DH & I all have a great time. We're all happy...so why mess up a good thing?

My mom and stepfather do this. My mom will say, "So you're going to WDW again? Why don't you try somewhere else?"

I usually reply with, "So you guys are going to Gulf Shores/Biloxi for your vacation? Why don't you try somewhere else?" She turns red and says, "Point taken."

I just tell people we are going to Florida and leave it at that. They don't need to know where in Florida we are going, so I don't feel the need to tell them!

I had one guy who razzed me ALL the time about it. Until I told him dont knock it til you try it. Now that's the only place he and his new wife go.
