Explain to me how the dine in theaters work.

We did the AMC theater dining thing last year and it was so fun. My husband can't wait to go back.

Is the Sci-fi Theater age restricted? Seems like a fantastic venue, but would my 6 year old be too scared?

Of course it's not age restricted- it's inside a Disney park. Most 6 year Olds shouldn't be scared. These are really old b movies from the 50s and maybe 60s. The effects are so bad that they're more campy than scary.

Definitely not. My 2.5-year-old loved it on our last trip! There's not anything scary or adult about it.

We are going between Christmas and New Years and staying at SSR and trying to plan our nights at DTD. It will be very crowded when we go and wondering how far in advance I can purchase the movie tickets. I giess Ill look to see how far out now I can purchase and gauge from there.

We kept checking when the movie times for our date were released. It was no more than a week before our trip, that's when we made our reservations.
