I found this on a US/IOA fan site. This is from Universal's Height Requirement chart:

Pteranodon Flyers® – Must be at least 36"; 36"to 56" must be
accompanied by an adult. Guests over 56” must be accompanied by a
guest meeting this requirement.

Does this mean no single riders are allowed? Just curious, as I've never seen such a requirement, or seen it worded this way.

Sheesh the wording on that could confuse anyone! I'll try!

You must be at least 36" to ride. Children 36"-56" can ride with an adult. Adults or guests over 56" must have a kid meeting the above height requirements to get on the ride.

Basically adults w/o kids are not allowed on the ride alone. However if you show up at opening they will usually let you ride. :)

That's what I understood it to mean. Usually the parks around here say that adults bust be accompanied by a child. Much easier to understand, I think.

This is what it says at the actual universal/IOA website: " Pteranadon Flyers® is designed for children 36" to 56" tall. Adults over 56" must be accompanied by a child meeting this requirement."

The quote you had should not say anything about them needing to be accompanied by an adult, but an adult needs to be accompanied by a child! People who are between 36 and 56 inches tall can ride alone.

But, only if they are over the age of 7 (I believe).

Right, as is true, I think, with everything. Children under 7 are supposed to be accompanied by a parent on everything.

I forgot about that point! :)
