Lime green is the dis "color." They sell lime green t-shirts and hats and stuff on this board, or you can just find your own. If you wear these things at WDW people can identify you as a disser (unless someone just likes lime green ) Also, some people make lime green name tags, with their user name, to wear in the world. You can get little lime green Mickey Mouse heads in the paint department at Home Depot, on paint color cards, and make them into name tags. I picked them up once but never made the name tags. Some folks have been lucky enough to meet on-line friends while at WDW! It is all just for fun if you want to do it! Have a great Disney day!!!!
I will admit I have never seen a lime green heron, but everyone likes to stand out in the crowd occasionally Go for it!!
I got a visor recently for signing up as a sponser here (I figure since I spend more time here some days than anywhere else, I should help keep up the joint ) and I was hoping it was going to be lime green. It was white, but I am thinking about tie dying it
Excellent! I will work on that! I don't think I'll be able to greet my fellow DISers with the secret handshake this summer, but maybe by my next trip in April . . . .
I haven't heard of a Great Lime Green Heron...possibly an endangered species, although I don't find it on any of the lists.
However, in Everglades National Park, we actually do have a bird we jokingly refer to as the "Everglades Tie-Dyed Heron." It's an immature Little Blue Heron. It starts out life as an all-white bird. During it's second year, it slowly morphs into an all-blue bird, so during that period it really does look like it's tie-dyed.
I have no doubt that one of our computer geniuses will get a picture of a Great Blue, Great White, or Great Egret, color lime green and post it!
