Expiring points

Because of switching around a reservation after my banking window I have 4 points expiring May 31, June UY. Do I just have to watch them expire or can I give them to someone? I think that would be painful but if I must...sigh.

You could advertise them for transfer on the DVC Rent/trade board here on Disboards at say $8 ppt, in to get them away quickly, and I'm sure a DVC member looking for a few distressed points will take them off your hands. It's worth a try anyway. Be sure to read all the yellow notices at the top of the rent/trade forum before you post your listing.

Most likely will have to let them go. Transfer are only once per UY, in or out so most owners don’t want to waste it for a small amount.

Given the wait times for calling MS...which you would have to do, I am not sure it’s worth the money you might make.

The only other option is to advertise to book one night and then borrow your own points to finish it up. Personally, I’d let them go.

You could also book a 10 point RCI by borrowing 6 points.
