expiring points

I called DVC today to add a day to next years trip and the member services gentleman on the phone went through my remaining points for 2013 and I told him my plans for remaining points/ banking etc. He says "you sure have your points under control. You wouldn't believe how many points I've seen expire lately.". To which I said "that's so sad! What a waste". This really just blew my mind. I never realized how many people would do that or maybe don't realize their options/banking? When I bought into DVC recently I thought they explained the procedure well.

that really is so sad. it is too bad to have points just expire like that. i'm glad you have a good handle and understand how to use/bank your points. and i like going online to review as well. we did not have the luxury of being able to "see" our points, transaction history, or be able to bank/borrow online. it used to all be via phone to ms. but enjoy those points!
