My ticket mess is sorted out. We purchased through an offsite vendor that no longer sells tickets. Except this one was a ‘redeem your voucher’. I wasnt concerned because others on the DIS has successfully redeemed their vouchers. Then covid and our trip delayed 2 years. 🤦‍♀️

Guest services couldn’t help. The ticket counter didn’t know what to do and got her lead. The lead knew what I meant but couldn’t find my tickets since they changed how things are processed since 2019. She gave me a paper with an address to mail for help. Um…I’ve called multiple times with no help I’m not doing that. I asked if she could call a manager. She said he’s newer than her and wasn’t around with that system. I said that’s ok.

After we waited awhile she was able to pull up our voucher with the managers help. But there were no ticket numbers in it to print. He told her to give me complimentary tickets. We now have 4 day and 1 day one park tickets that expire in 2 years. I paid $1100 and the value of these is $0. But if I bought today I’d pay $1480 for 5 day tickets. I was there an hour and nearly in tears multiple times. I’m glad I didn’t leave and this mess is finally resolved.

BTW I bought tickets on the Disney site for this trip because I didn’t want to deal with this mess and not have a reservation to boot.

So glad you were able to get some help! What a headache, but kudos to you for sticking with it and getting some resolution at last.

It is so hard to stick with it when things are so frustrating! Way to keep at it until you got something for it. Really wish this was easier for guests.

I just looked and 3 day one park are $1280. They should have just given me 3 day tickets.

Anyway, that how much tickets have gone up since 2019!!!!

I had 5 day park hoppers with maxpass for $1102.28. That was at a discount but no more than $50 per ticket, probably. Same thing is $2120 now. Double!! That’s incredible. ETA and kind of absurd if you think about it. 🤣

I know how you feel. The cost of our park tickets for our June 2022 trip was more than my ENTIRE TRIP BUDGET for 2012. To be fair, we now are a family of 7 and 5 of us are 'adult' tickets now, and we were only a family of 5 back in 2012 and two were free tickets, but that trip included airfare too. The price increases are a bit crazy in how they all add up. Like you said even from 2019 the price of maxpass i pre-bought was $10, and now G+ is $20 - for a lesser benefit. We are still going, but our souvenir budget takes a hit! No Savi's for us!

So glad you stuck with it and got it fixed. After covid, I am just sticking with tickets from Disney for either park. I know they will at least give me credit, and I won't have to deal with a voucher. They do sometimes cost more, but I haven't really found the discounts to be that much and definitely not worth any hassle I may incur.

Exactly. The discount is small.

Only vendor I would consider using for tickets is Undercover Tourist. They’ve been around forever and you can get hard tickets, not vouchers.
