Good morning folks!

I received an email for a 1 Day Sale from BJ's Wholesale Club for Disney Gift Cards - $140.49 for $150 worth of gift cards.

http://www.bjs.com/5--disney-gift-card--3-pk-.product.287855

This includes free shipping.

You don't need a membership to buy at BJ's Wholesale online.

I've used my credit card to rack up points as well.

I've also gone through Mr. Rebates to get an additional 3% rebate. If you aren't a Mr. Rebates member you can PM me and I can send you a link.

Cheers!

Thanks for this! I just ordered a bunch (and am a member but checked out as a guest) for our upcoming cruise.

You might want to edit your title that it's only good for today. The discounted cards appear in the 1-Day to Save/Shop Now section.

I updated the title, thanks Chirple!

I ordered from BJ's, no membership required- we only got $200, told my wife that the $10 saved she could have some coffee at Cove's :love1:

Thanks! I've been thinking about ordering the $100 for $95 cards, but this bit extra pushed me over the edge.

The rebate sites says gift cards are excluded, so I didn't bother signing up for Mr. Rebates. My usual cashback site is only 1%, but no harm in trying (though I don't expect to get it).

I used my Discover Card since it has 5% cashback on wholesale clubs up to $1500 through the end of this month (activation required).

Yes, thank you for the heads up!!! just ordered some and I'm not a member there (dont have them near me :-P ) Best deal I've seen lately (Sams club near me it was $142 and some change)

Thanks much for posting. I needed $1200 more, and was waiting until end month, but jumped on this deal today. Also Used my discover card for the 5% back.

Thanks, just ordered the gc. Between this deal and Meijer's gc deal, I've saved nearly $60 this week:dogdance:

Thank you! I just ordered some from the BJ's sight and used gift cards at the parks before, but how do you use them on the cruise ship?

Thanks!!

When I board the ship I go to guest services and have them put the gift card on my account.

You can also combine your gift cards into one at https://www.disneygiftcard.com/ and call in advance to add it to your onboard account. We've done this in the past. I've already added up our preliminary onboard charges (excursions, Palo meals + tips, MDR tips) and want to have that paid off before leaving. I used my Disney Visa to buy the GCs.

Just saw that my 1% cashback posted on Ebates even though it says gift cards are excluded.

@xQuizx I'd be curious to know if your cashback on Mr. Rebates posts (since it also says gift cards excluded). If it does then I'll be kicking myself for not signing up.

I've used Mr. Rebates for 2 orders last month for Disney gift cards and they posted:

Mr. Rebates thanks you for placing your order with BJ's.

Order Details

Order Date: 5/9/2017
Order Amount: $1,899.80
Cash Back Rate: 3%
Cash Back Amount: $56.99

I initially wasn't expecting anything back since they were gift cards but it must be coded something else.

Cheers!

I load my gift cards into a Disney Vacation Account to get the 2% cashback for every $1,000 spend.

Then I call the cruise line to buy on board credit. You can buy on board credit in $300 chunks.

The operator let me know that any unused on board credit would be credited back to my DVA.

She also let me know that the "free" on board booking credits would be used first before the purchased credits.

Cheers!

Can you tell me what happens if I do no use all the money on the gift cards? Is it returned to the original gift cards?

The leftover money will be returned to the gift.

If you combine all your gift cards onto 1 gift card then the money would be returned to that 1 gift card.

If you used multiple gift cards to load your on board account on the cruise ship, then you'll have to keep all your gift cards to see which card or multiple cards received the returned money.

If you are going the gift card route of funding your on board account, I recommend combining the balances onto 1 card so you only have to track 1 card.

You can combine up to $1,000 onto 1 gift card.

If you go the Disney Vacation Account route, where you load your gift cards onto the account, the money would be returned back to your Disney Vacation Account. https://disneyvacationaccount.disney.go.com/

Thank you! I am going to try Mr. rebates, Discover, and Dvc to max out the % back.
