Cleaning out my DD's toy room. She has way too much stuff that she hasn't played with for a long time, partly because she forgets she even has them.

Any tips for organizing a toy room????

Melinda

Well, since no organized people have replied yet...I will.:teeth:

All I can think of is to put the toys on low shelves instead of in toyboxes. They can be seen better that way.

When the kids are not around, pack up everything that you know they don't play with. Hide these boxes. If they don't notice the missing stuff after a few weeks, take it to the Goodwill. ;)

With young children, pack up everything that they don't play with, put it away for a couple of weeks and then bring it back out. They will enjoy playing with toys that they haven't seen in a while.
