Experiences with Hotwire.com?

Just wondering if anyone had any good or bad experiences with Hotwire.com that they might be willing to share.

I'm debating about just getting hotel alone or doing a package with airfare.

Any reviews would be greatly appreciated

Yes. I reserved two rooms at the MCO Hyatt for $25 each. Great deal. Easy transaction.

I reserved a room at the Wyndham Palace during Spring Break for $50 night. Based on the hotel features, I had a pretty good idea that this was the hotel I would get before I reserved it.

I've used it often to book a hotel in Minneapolis when I go to visit DD at school.

The site www.betterbidding.com gives you a clue as to what the hotel you're reserving might be.

I find hotwire to be much more straightforward than priceline and a good site to use if you have no definite desire to stay in a particular hotel.
