Experiences w/ childcare?

We're looking into using either the Fairy Godmothers service, or possibly the
Neverland club at the poly. I would love to hear about any experiences
with either of these services! The Neverland Club costs twice as much as the Fairy Godmothers, but judging from the pictures I've seen, the Neverland Club has a very nice setup and seems to have a variety of activities for the kids to choose from. Any input is greatly appreciated!

How many children are you talking about? What are their ages?

My kids are 11, 7, and 5. My five-year-old has Down syndrome, but she really doesn't require any special care. Thanks for any input.

I think the minimum age for the Neverland Club is 4, and they must be potty-trained. This may be the better option for you, since there is a lot more for them to do than Fairy Godmothers can probably provide for them. I'd look at Fairy Godmothers as more of an option for very young and/or non-potty trained children who would be content to hang out in the room.

We have used Fairy Godmothers and Kid's Night Out (the service endorsed by Disney) and had good experiences with both. The Kid's Night Out sitters brought books and games, took the kids for walks, etc. They are very thorough and keep in contact with you. Our little ones were too young for the Neverland Club, which I am considering for our next trip in December.

We have never used the fairy godmother service, but back in Jan my kids (DD5 and DS almost 8) went there twice. They loved it, particularly my son, who asked if he could stay there longer on our next trip if he paid for an hour with his allowance money!!!

We are going back to Disney in 11 days (yea!) and we have 2 nights planned for the Neverland Club again, but we aren't making him spend his own money for it!
