Hello! I have a reservation for 4 for the Spice Road dining package. We did this back in July 2020 (yes, as WDW was reopening) and loved it. We always enjoy the food at Spice Road (and loved Marrakesh when it was open, RIP Marrakesh). Back then, with the Fireworks package, we were sat at one of the tables outside along the railing, and every person selected 2 tapas and we got drinks ad a shared dessert. It wasn't too expensive.

So, forward 4 years, I was able to book it at 10am 60 days out for our arrival day. Didn't seem difficult to book. Price has increased and now there's a "shared tagine" and shared appetizers.

I found a review that shows they were sat inside and then went outside for the viewing. So, I'm wondering if the reason it was easier to book is that you are not sat at one of the premium tables anymore for the full meal. Part of what made it special for us was being seated along the rail for the full meal, sipping wine, and as a party of 4 we were in one of the tables along the railing.

Does anyone know if the the fireworks menu options in that review are still the ones being offered? Looks like the tagine is couscous and veggies?

Anyway, would love to hear recent experiences dining at Spice Road with the fireworks package. Thank you.

An immediate relative is a CM in Morocco and their opinion is the indoor option was offered because it was raining and that dining package guests are typically seated outside unless they request it.

Also, I have done the SRT fireworks package personally two times in the past 9 months and the menu has been the same with tagine (yes, it is vegetarian couscous, by far the weakest part of meal), choice of 2 tapas and shared dessert plate. We also usually order a couple extra items because the fried cauliflower isn’t on the fireworks menu and it’s a favorite. The patio set up with tables for 4 along railing and tables of 2 across the aisle has been the same. We were not offered indoor seating either time.

Hope that helps.

Wow, exactly what I needed to know, thank you so much for asking your relative and sharing your experience!

Yeah, the veggie tagine wasn't offered last time we were there, but at least it is in addition to the 2 tapas that they have been offering. It does give me little kid lunch vibes (I think it's the whole baby carrots and it also looks like it should have cooked longer and have more of a sauce).

We get to make our dining reservations Wednesday…
And plan on SRT fireworks package to be the first to make on the list.

Was it hard to get the reservation?
I never see any availability when I look, it seems like it will be the hardest on our list.

We are a party of two so won’t be at the railing- will our views still be good in your opinion?

I had never heard of that set up so it makes sense it was because of rain. When I looked at the review photos there is def water all over the walkways and the photo shows a couple guests outside for viewing who look to have on ponchos.

And this quote from article "Since it was a drizzly night, we were given the option to dine inside or out. We chose to dine inside. A few tables offer a direct view of the show through the window, with the rest located one or two rows back."
