Experienced some true Disneyland magic this trip!

We only had 2 days in the parks, and refused to wait more than 30 minutes for rides, so we had to pick and choose a bit what we rode on. I planned as best I could, but with 3 small kids pointing to rides, I couldn't exactly be a dictator. Anyway, we were gonna have to skip Peter Pan. When we walked past it on the second morning there was already a 50 minute wait. I was disappointed, I really wanted to ride that one. We got on the carousel instead, and as soon as we walked off, a CM grabbed me and said "follow me please". She brought us through the exit of PP, and boarded us onto the ride 5 minutes later!!!!!!!!!!! Dd (7) almost had tears of joy on it, just totally bright eyed and mesmerized, declaring how she loved it and it was the best ride ever. Dd (5) couldn't get over the fact that we were FLYING. She was amazed! It was so special, I can't believe we almost missed it. We will always remember that bit of DLR magic.

What a great story! That reminds me of our trip last September. We were walking past Toy Story and commented that everyone was tired and we couldn't wait in the 45 minute line when the CM came over and said "I know everyone is tired, but come with me." And she took our family over to the single rider area and we all rode together after only about a 10 minute wait. It was so unexpected and wonderful. Our son has disabilities and uses a wheelchair, but even being able to use his chair, he has an extremely hard time being in large groups of people. It was such a magical moment to us!
