Our local movie rental store is closing down so we are looking into other options.

What are your experiences with Netflix?

Good? bad? Prompt delivery? Selection in stock?

What's the deal with the movies you can watch online? Is that included in your one DVD rental at a time or is that unlimited? Good selection of online movies?

Which plan do you have?

Thanks!!:goodvibes

we signed up for the 3 at a time, which means we have them coming and going all the time. They are very prompt and we make our selections and have them all lined up. We are very pleased with this company and have told others about it.....

I don't do it but I heard that you can watch whatever you want anytime you want on your tv.....it doesn't matter which amount you are signed up for

we put our sign up on hold during the months we go other places

I'm dealing with my 1 and only gripe with them right now. We had charges on our credit card that we just couldn't explain, so we had to cancel it and are awaiting new cards. I went to the site, logged in, and am trying to find a way to make a payment so they don't cancel my account, but there is just no way (that I can find) of making a 1 time payment.

They don't accept Paypal, they won't take a check transfer, they won't accept a check (I don't blame them on this one), but the kicker was, I purchased a pre-paid card just to make a 1 time payment. I logged in, so happy to have my instant watch back, put in the # from the card, then got a screen that said, "we do not accept pre-paid cards." I was fuming!!! and Sad!!!!

I just hope my card gets here ASAP!

I am happy with Netflix. I guess a gripe you can have is that Warner Bros/Time Warner signed a 28 day wait for new releases. So you have to wait for those movies.

We've had netflix for several years now and love them. Maybe twice in all this time we got a scratched disk, but they are very prompt to send out a new one. We also LOVE that so many devices (tvs, tivo, blue-ray players, xbox, coming soon the wii, etc) now are netflix ready so you can instantly stream tons of content. The streaming isn't always the newest movies, but there are tons to choose from and newer ones are becoming more readily available all the time. I would highly recommend using them.

Love love love it! I have 3 at a time. I can mail DVD's back one day, they get them the next day, then the next day I get new ones. Unbelivably fast and great service. I love their selection of documentaries. Watching one about Harvey Milk as I'm typing this!

We love Netflix! Watch Instantly is our favorite.
We were members when Hurricane Katrina struck. They emailed us that our account had been suspended with no charge until we decided to restart. That really meant alot to us!

I pay $18.01 per month for 3 movies out at a time. I've been a 100% satisfied Netflix customer for 6 or 7 years now (I'd have to look at my history to know for sure) come next month (March).

I have had very few problems with them, could probably count them on one hand over all these years and movies going back and forth weekly. And any time I have had to report a problem they were super-quick in correcting whatever it was.

There was only one time that I was expecting a particular movie, and the title of that movie was on the sleeve, but something else was inside. It was really no big deal as we did watch, and enjoyed, the movie. I just let them know, and they sent the correct movie right away.

I love their service, no driving to the video store to rent movies. And the best part is not having to make a special trip to town to return them or pay the late fees if I don't get them back on time. I can keep a movie from Netflix for 1 day or 1 month and there are no added charges.

And the turn around time is pretty quick too. If I send a movie back on Monday, they get it Tuesday morning and ship another one that afternoon and it's in my mailbox on Wednesday.

I have a list of probably 200 movies that I want to see, so there is no shortage of movies they can choose from to send me. And I move them around in my queue all the time, so I will get what I want the next time they send one out.

I can't say enough good things about Netflix. As I said, I'm a 100% satisfied long-time customer.

Oh, and the biggest video store in our area is also going out of business. I haven't stepped foot into their store in years. Must be a lot of other people have done the same.

We have the 1 out at a time with the instant download option. We easily get the money from the instant download options. We stream through our HD Tivo. I love watching old movies and watching/catching up on tv shows that are popular.

The best thing is that my husband can download movies to watch in his laptop wherever he is and I can watch whatever I want streaming on the tv at home.

The dvd is quick turn around here also. If I just have to have something that is about to be released then I bump the movie to the top of the que on Saturday or Sunday before release and make sure to send back for a new dvd.
