We are planning on booking with the free dining, but it is going to be WAY too much food for my family. We would like to share a few meals at some of the TS locations. Has anyone actually done this? How did you handle it? Were the servers okay with it?

I dont know if they will let you do that or not. A lot of the places we had PS's for were buffets and I would think that they would frown on a "sharing" strategy!

FYI - My 2 yo "shared" with us but always had her own plate, drinks, etc and was never charged.

I'm sorry...I should have specified....I know we can't share at buffets...I meant more at the Table Service places. We are looking at going to Le Cellier and Primetime for sure, but we aren't sure where else we will go. Anyone do this and how did it go?

There is no problem with sharing- most of the restaurants we visited last fall gave us an extra plate for DD- some even went ahead and gave her the "side" item on the sharing plate for free. Many, many people share, and none of the restaurants I've heard of frown on the practice.

I would, however, give a bit extra $$ in the tip- to acknowledge the fact that the server did serve an extra person.
