We will be traveling in April/May and I am torn between renting a City Mini or using the money toward a Chicco Liteway Plus. Has anyone tackled WDW with one, including flying? Our son is 2 and does not mind being in a stroller and we typically go commando style when visiting.

I bought the chicco liteway plus for our bub to use as a general stroller. We took it to New York for a week long trip and do still use it, but my goodness the thing has the absolute WORST steering of any stroller I've ever owned. It's easy to fold, but as I walk along it struggles to go in a straight line - it's worse than a shopping cart. I think there's a problem with the front wheels, but chicco says there isn't, which leads me to think it's just a poor design. When I first bought it the steering did seem fine - now the wheels have really just lost a lot of their ease of movement. We've only have the darn thing for 4 months or so.

We have a chicco liteway and it managed just fine through 2 weeks in Disney World with our two year old. It is our regular stroller so we (and our son) were quite used to it. I do wish we had bought a city mini from the beginning (love that big shade!), but oh well. Our is the 2011 version, but we have never had a bad experience with it, and I have never had ant steering trouble with it as the other person mentioned. It has gone to Disneyland twice too and did just fine!

We do have a rain cover for it, and a shade extender (protect-a hub). Depending on the season you are going, those cold be a big help. Good luck.

We are going the first week of May so I am not sure what to expect. I am just thinking it would be the perfect size, easy to use on the bus and whatnot. We could even fold it to carry out at the end of the night to make our way through the crowds.

Can you fold the stroller with the extender on it?

Definitely use a shade extender. And yes u can fold the stroller with it attached.
