Has anyone ever added a night on to your existing reservation? I just added an extra night to our stay at HRH but had to do it as a separate reservation. My concern is if they are going to make me check out of the first room and then recheck in under the new reservation for that one night? They are both for the same type room (Garden View Queen). My concern is that we are bringing our pets so would rather keep the same room.

So just wondered if anyone else has gone back and added a night and what they experienced.

I did it online. I first called and they told me it would still be a separate reservation number. I didn't have a credit card on me as they told me I would have to pay another night deposit in full since it is another res#. So instead of calling back I just went online and booked it since I was told 2 res #'s anyway.

Did they put your added night onto the same res#? Did you call yours in and what # did you call?

I am wondering since the night I added is a different rate (a little higher than the other 2 nights) that it created a separate reservation?

I added a night to our upcoming trip and they added it with the same confirmation number. I would call and check

KLAIT,

But was your added night for the same rate as the others or a different rate? I could not get the discounted rate for the 3rd night but was willing to pay higher rate to get that extra night in...previously they did not have that night open.

Just wondering if since it is a different rate that they can't make it part of original res?

I called a couple of weeks ago to add 1 night to our 7-night vacation at Portofino. I did the addition over the phone and she added the night to our existing reservation number and gave us the same rate. At the end of the call I asked if we had a new reservation number and she assured me that it was all under the original reservation.

I had to do the same thing last month. I have always been able to just add or drop extra nights, but for some reason they couldn't do it, or combine some separate ressies I had. We just needed to check back in the next day for the separate ressie but did not change rooms. Just explain your situation at check in and they will block you into the same room for your entire stay.
