Experience with 2 ECVs

In the past we just used 1 or 2 wheelchairs, but on our last day last year they rented 2 ECVs and loved it. For our upcoming trip they wanted to rent 2 ECVs for the whole week, but I'm worried about using transportation with them. They are not Disney directions savvy and would quite possibly get very flustered if we had to split the ECVs between buses. Staying at GF so Epcot and MK shouldn't be a problem since we can use the monorail, but obviously we'll have to use the buses to get to other places.
Basically will both be able to board on the same bus or will we have to split the party? Also in attractions with handicap seating will both be able to sit in the same area? Any tips on traveling with 2 ECVs welcome.

Thanks!

You can stay together but might have to wait for the next bus if they only have room for one

It's possible they might have to wait for the next bus to stay together, but anecdotally - when I was in a group where two of us were using ECV's that never happened to us.
