Yes, there are at least 30 recent threads on EE on this board, alone.

Just SEARCH for Expedition Everest and you'll find discussions and links galore.

BTW, EE is NOT scheduled to be OPEN until APRIL 7, 2006. But you never know.

Ahhhh, I see XP I thought it opened on Jan. 16, but now I see, open for AP....AGGHHH!

I was invited to a cast member preview a few nights ago.

It's starts out like a train ride, similar to Big Thunder Mountain. The similarities end there, and a there's a BIG surprise in the middle of the ride.

I like it when the train goes up to the top of the mountain... you can see for miles! I saw it at night and it was beautiful. You could see all 4 parks plus things way out on 192, like Old Town.

The ride was a decent length, not too short!

It may be a bit scary for younger children because of the Yeti... lots of moments in the dark.

Ride it when you can... I'm sure the lines will be really long, but it is definitely worth the wait!

I rode it yesterday. My husband and son rode it first. They said they didn't think I could handle it. I gave it some thought, but decided to try it anyway. I'm glad I did. I enjoyed it. It's not nearly as intense as Rock N roller, but it got my stomach. I sat in the 4th row and found the ride to be very smooth. My husband and son sat in the back and found it to be very jerky.

I would say that it would be VERY scary for small children for many reasons. First, I'm 4'11''. I felt the safety bar could have gone down further than it did. 2nd, I slid around in the seat, (side to side). 3rd if they don't understand that the Yeti is make believe, he could be very intimidating.

My son rode the coaster twice. The first time he felt completely disoriented when the coaster began to go backwards. At one point he couldn't tell if he was going sideways or upside down. (It does NOT go upside down.)
