This is the best kept secret at the Animal Kingdom right now. We just got back, and Expedition Everest was THE HOTTEST RIDE AT WDW. Parks are slow right now, but standby line was 70 minutes and Fast Passes were for 3 hours later. I tried the single rider's line and was riding just 3 minutes later! NOBODY knows about this entrance, about 20 feet to the right of the main entrance, hidden in the shadows. Shhhh! Let this line just be a secret for just my DIS friends! :dance3:

Ya know, the less it is talked about, the fewer people who will use it! :)

It works quite well. I've still found fastpass to be the quickest way in if you can get one for a decent time.

This is good, lets keep a lid on this....

I loved using the single rider line when I was there a few months ago. :yay: But has the location of it changed? When I was there, it was the same entrance as the fast pass entrance, and you had to ask for a single rider pass.

And is the line now open all the time and for EMHs? I remember it opening a little later in the morning and closed maybe an hour before AK closing time.

Yes we used this last trip. We did wait longer than we wold for a fast pass but nothing like the regular standby line !!

Hey, thanks for this. DH will not ride so it's me, myself & I (counts as single rider, right? ;) ) Mums the word.

You bet it does! My DH won't ride with me either so you can bet I'll be in the single line. :cool1:

Sassagoula - Yes the entrance is now to the far right of the standby and fastpass entrances - hidden in the shadows next to the souveneir shop.

I guess it was really busy when we were there a week ago 8/17-21, because hubby tried to get in the single rider line and the wait time was 45 minutes. He said not worth it. All FP were gone and the standby was 90 minutes. Who said August was slow?? This was on Thursday afternoon 8/17. He has ridden EE many times, so this wasn't his first time. We had to zip back to AK before the end of our trip so that he got to ride it before we left...no problem first thing in the morning.

That's good to know. Thanks! :sunny:
