Expedition Everest Mickey???

I was at Barnes and Noble the other day and saw the cover for a new 2007 guide to WDW...I think it was Birnbaum's? Anyway, the cover had a picture of Mickey in front of Expedition Everest in AK.... He was dressed in "snow gear" like he was ready for an expedition on Everest!! It was so cute! Does anyone know if he actually makes an appearance this way or was it just for a promotional photo??
