Expedition Everest Certificate I need to give away.

Hi guys. Just came back from WDW and I got on Expedition Everest (awesome ride!) but forgot to use to certificate I won for the free picture. It expires Sept 30, 2006. I will give this certificate to the first person who replies to this post. I think the picture normally costs around $19.00.

I can send it by priority mail so it gets to you before you leave. I have to ship packages tomorrow morning so pm me with your name and address I should mail it to. I would hate for the certificate to go to waste so I'm glad someone is able to use it. BTW, you are going to love that ride!. Make sure when you go to Animal Kingdom, you go when it first opens, get the FP to Expedition Everest and then get in the stand by line. That way you'll get to ride it at least twice without a the long wait - which can get pretty long. That ride was more intense than I thought but it was so much fun.

I'm glad to hear I'm not the only dummy who forgot to take the voucher to AK for my free pic! I gave it to a family at OKW who hadn't been to AK yet that trip. Hope they didn't forget it too!

What was the ride like?? I definately won't go on it - big thunder mountain is my limit but DH and kids want to go on it. DS is 6 and I'm not sure if he'll be okay on it. What other ride can you compare it to??

We brought ours BUT you must stop at the front of the park to turn it in and get something to get the free picture. SO, we bought a picture, and still have the certificate. If anyone else wants one let me know!!

The ride is roller coaster ride, but it is scarey for a kid. My ds 9 LOVED it, but my dd who is 7 wouldn't go on it as my DH said she would be terrified, with the special effects, not the ride itself. I didn't go on it because I'm not huge on roller coasters. Hope that helps.

Yes. Well, actually you'll get to print out a page you'll need to take to guest relations at AK to get the certificate.

I can't explain. To me it was way more intense than big thunder mountain. I could almost compare it to space mountain but it is a smoother ride. I'd say if you can ride space mountain you could handle this one but My DD4 , DS8, DS11, DSD16 & DH also got on this and DS8 & DD4 refused to go on again. DD4 did not really want to try anymore thrill rides after that one. Prior to that she rode SM & Big thunder Mountain without any problems.
We also saw DeVine at AK and would you believe DD4 was afraid of her? She ran away so fast when she saw DSevine walking. She told me she thought Devine was coming to attack her. LOL.

I'll post a trip report within the next few days. I must say that it was very hot there! We took a break by 12:30pm and went back to our resort. We came back to see the parade and did a few more rides. I thought we would die in the heat waiting for that parade! Make sure you buy a misty fan or misty mate before you go. They are expensive to buy in the park and if you want to get through this park comfortably, you'll need one or the other! Also bring water bottles and drink plenty of water to stay hydrated. It was like 96 degrees when we went there.
