Expedition Everest- 4 star ride

Last week, we rode Expedition Everest.. It's Disney at it's best!!! Disney went all out on this one and it shows. My family(hubby, 9 yr.old and I) all thought the ride is the best one in Disney World. Everything from the queing to the actual ride is great!
Probably my only gripe is that you don't get to see the Yeti for more than a few seconds. I know that it's Disney's largest and most complicated figure- I would like to have seen it more.
Although it's very popular, it's a very fast moving ride-I mean the line waiting for it. We did wait in one stand-by line. It was supposed to be 20 minutes; but it was more like 10 minutes.
I can't rave enough about this ride... It's a 4 star ride for sure..

Wow I can't wait to ride this in Oct. Does this ride have any steep drops? I'm trying to convince DH and DD12 to ride but they don't like big drops. She had a fit on the Mummy last year and wouldn't talk to me for an hour after riding it.(she thought I tricked her into going)

That big hill is fun and scary. After going backwards you stop but you can feel that you are on a slant and you can see a slight glimpse of light. Than you see the shadow of the Yeti breaking the track. Than you start moving again slowly over a hill and than you can feel the speed picking up as you go over the hill and than your at the bottom.

Their wait time always seems to be WAY off. We've waited in the 40 min line for 12 min; 20 min line for 5 min; 30 minute line we walked right on. Kinda odd. But, no complaining here!!

THE BEST!! I rode it twice in 20 min last Sunday....can't believe its been a week already!

How scary would this be for a ride wimp? If I rate BTTMR a 4 out of ten, Space Mtn a 10 and Splash Mtn an 8 (ToT and RnR are way off my scale!) how would you guys rate this ride? I really hope I am brave enough to ride it!

We also thought this ride was AWESOME!!! DS6 just couldn't get enough - he rode it 3 times in a row! I even bought the picture they took of us on the ride! LOL

It was a very smooth ride - my only problem with roller coasters - can't handle the jerkiness. This one was awesome - thrilling yet smooth! Probably the best one I've ever been on.


It's a really short ride though!
