EXPEDIA who has used it?

Thinking of using this website, since they have the two flights I want, from two different airlines (one going to MCO, one going back to BOS).

I've never done this, and although I try to read all the "small print" is there a reason to be wary of this website? Restrictions I might not be reading?

It's better to book directly through the airline. If changes need to be made, having a middle man can make things much more difficult.

Isn't it the same price as the airline? Go and check before you book.

I have only ever gone through the airlines directly, which I am wondering about this. Unfortunately, I can't find great flights from one airline, so I decided to look around.

We've purchased many vacation pages in the past through Expedia, and knock on wood, have had no issues. I have had issues with Travelocity overbooking a room I reserved, so now whenever I book on ANY travel site I always make sure to confirm my reservations directly with the airline, hotel, or rental company prior to my arrival.

I always use google flights to find flights and then use the link they provide to book directly.

I used Expedia for a flight in 2009. It was a PITA and I won't use them again.

I've used it before and there's not really an issue, UNLESS something with the flight changes etc. I almost never book with anyone other than directly with the airline now just because it's so much easier to change/fix stuff if there are problems.

Thanks all - ended up seeing good prices with Delta, so went with the airline directly - makes me feel better as that is what I always did.

Good choice. elliott.org (a consumer advocates) has an almost weekly Expedia horror story for hotels or flights.
