Expedia has All Star Music suites for $140 per night

I found out that expedia have published the wrong rates for ASMu suites. They switched preffered room price with suite price..also if you have booked with them they will NOT honor the mistake. Just a heads up...this came from Expedia.

Has anyone been able to use these Expedia rates? I just checked again now, and can still find $120-$140 rates listed for a family suite. If they know it is a mistake, why have they not changed it on their website?:confused3

pktbMouse,

Where did you get your info from? I called expedia and the rep confirmed my reservation with the hotel itself. He said no problems and not to worry, so they are honoring it.

All I can think of when I read this thread is, "If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is". I really hope those of you who booked a family suite through Expedia at the cheap rate will have your reservations honored, but if it were me, I wouldn't risk it. :confused3

Of course they switched the rates. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out. The question is.....Will they honor the rate? I am tempted to book myself as I need 2 or 3 nights in June. But I agree - if it seems to good to be true, it probably is.

Hi. I just checked and the week BEFORE Thanksgiving is available, checking out Sunday the 22nd. Still $120. Boy am I tempted :thumbsup2

We really liked the suites - we stayed for 2 weeks in January and it was really great. The sofabed wasn't the greatest - the mattress is a little thinner than the frame, so when I sat on the edge to get out, the big heavy metal frame hit me in the thighs. But it was nothing a little Disney exhaustion couldn't cure!:rotfl:

Just remember you're still in a value ;)

Seriously I have had dealings with Expedia before on a trip to las vegas where they got wrong rates and I had one hell of a fight with them on the phone..they finally agreed to change it...when I got to the Hotel in the middle of the night there was no room for me...no reservation plus they had charged my credit card for the higher amount..not the so called honored rate. Apparently they have small print that gives them the right to change or alter your booking at any given time...now that may not be the case this time....so if you book it you have to ask yourself....are you feeling lucky punk?? are ya?

Ok, I'm very worried now about this. We have 7 nights reserved and on all of our paperwork it says "Family Suite". It even has the WDW reservation #. What do you think I should do? Should I call expedia? Should I call WDW??
Our vacation is not until November and I don't want to get there and have to pay more.
Oh... if disney would just send me a darn code this would all be so much easier!

For those of you who booked...I think it will be fine. Just a few of things.

There have been people here on this board that have booked at the cheap rate on Expedia and already traveled and they confirmed that everything went ok. If you do a search you can find the posts.

I myself made a reservation with Expedia that was paid in full and confirmed with Disney (you will see an actual Disney confirmation # on your Expedia ressie after a week or so). The I realized I booked the wrong dates, so I called Expedia last night to change the dates and after a $26 charge I was able to get the family suites for $150 a night on the dates I needed, and again the Expedia rep confirmed the rate.

My mom works for a property management company and the individual properties put their own rates into Expedia. The way she expalined it to me was that if it is a price mistake, it is a Disney price mistake, not an Expedia price mistake. If Disney makes a mistake....they are not going to argue with you.

If it was an Expedia pricing error...they've had MONTHS to fix it...and they chose not to? I think some of the first reports of this pricing on the boards was back in November sometime?

Just checked my dates for last weekend in May & its switched back. The family suite is $285. It was 140 last night. I should have got it then but my DH and I were going back and forth about it. We were worried it wouldn't be honored and the 5 of us would be stuck. We decide to go ahead and book and now the error has been fixed. Oh well, you snooze, you lose!

My dates switched back too, although they keep switching them. One minute they are $230 and the next they are $120.
I was able to get one more night for $120 because I kept checking back.
If they messed it up, shouldn't they have gotten it fixed by now?
I'm still nervous, but others have gone and been fine, so I guess we'll just keep hoping they don't get us in the end for this.

For those that were woried about this rate...

...we just got back from a 4 night stay in a suite for $150 a night booked through Expedia. No problems at all. Check-in was no different than any time I booked direct with Disney at rack rate.

It was great fun...but boy am I tired!:surfweb:
