We just returned from four wonderful nights at ALMu. We've stayed at many WDW resorts and decided to try this one this time because we were on a really tight budget. After searching, I found that EXPEDIA had the best rate and availabilty for ASMu, in fact, the price was better than calling WDW reservations. Plus, Expedia had the BEST information about the hotel with fabulous pictures of the hotel and rooms, etc. I booked the "room only" option.
Well, when we checked in the cast member gave me all our paperwork and then began to give me three "Lenght of Stay" passes and a coupon book for free pins and a few options.! I was a bit confused. I took the passes and then immediately called Expedia to make sure that I hadn't made a mistake and booked a package. No, they told me, I had only been charged for rooms.
So, being an honest person, I went back to the check in desk and explained that we weren't expecting to recieve passes (we were only planning on one day at the MK as this trip was actually to take our ill daughter to a specialist at Celebration Health center.) They did some checking and said that even if there had been a mistake - THE PASSES WERE OURS TO KEEP!!
So, after the doctor appointment we headed to the parks and kept going for three wonderful days! Plus, one of the coupons they gave us was for a free "leave a legacy" tile which we used for our beautiful daughter!
Of our many trips to WDW this was the most magical! We had time to really "spoil" our ill daughter and Disney treated us like royalty. Sometimes, good things do happen to good people!
