Anyone ever book a package with expedia.com? Seems like they have a good package for US and tickets. I'm always leery about doing anything over the internet(giving personal info) Any comments would be helpful. Thank you

I used Expedia to book a room at the HRH for one night in May. When I called to book a room with Universal reservations, they had no rooms available at HRH or RPR for a one night stay. They only had rooms at PBH for rack rate. I checked Expedia, and they had the date I was looking for and the best rate for a single night stay. As far as your personal info you give over the internet, well, it's reasonably safe. Perhaps even safer then using your cc for dinner. As far as Expedia, I have not had a problem with them. And I would not hesitate to use them in the future.

I have used expedia numerous times to book. I wouldn't worry about safety, it is a secure site. You might also want to check hotelkingdom.com and quikbook.com for rooms. I have found them to be much cheaper than expedia and they are both reputable sites, very professional. They are for room only, but you can get a good deal for tickets online at universalescape.com. I got 5 day consecutive passes for 89.95 each which are for both parks.

I wanted to book a nearly-last-minute weekend at HRH for 5/2 -5/4...no entertainment or Florida resident rates left at that time, so the lowest rates I was being quoted were $229 standard/garden, $289 deluxe, and $329 club...on expedia, I found rates of $179 standard/garden and $249 club for those dates... I booked the club rate!!
