We are so excited to stay at BWV, it's not even funny! We're so excited, in fact, that we're not even spending a few days at BCV, which we usually do because DW loves it there so much. She is fully enrolled in our BWV-mania.

This will be our first trip using the DDP, so we're enjoying the selection process. DS8 really wants to try Spoodles, which we think is very sophisticated of him.;)

We're not picky about room location (we're doing a standard view 2-bedroom), but we'll be combing the boards for advice and ideas re: BWV. Especially fun things for kids to do (ours will be 3, 5, 7 and 9). DW and I always spend an evening at Jellyrolls when we visit WDW, so it'll be great to be practically on top of it!

Anyway, just had to share the news with folks who "get it."

Welcome 'home!' BWV is my home resort, and I love, love, love it there. What type of view do you have? On my last trip to BWV (December 06), I had a 1BR Boardwalk View, and we were in room 2003. For us, it was a great location. It was all the way end of the hall, the next to the last room before Jellyrolls. About 10 steps outside our door was a stairway that lead out behind Jellyrolls. Perfect for the few nights we spent there, and very convenient to the MGM Studios. Plus, the view was fantastic. Can't wait for our next trip!!

The kids will enjoy Community Hall (even the little one) and probably make you crazy asking about renting one of those surrey bikes on the Boardwalk!

DON"T DO IT , its uphill BOTH ways . I'm always the one getting out and pushing that darn thing up the hill while everyone else goes for a ride !!!!!

Our home resort is BW and we are soooooo happy we bought in when BW was the only other one for sale (besides OKW). We love the location, even our add on HAD to be BW. Alot of people don't like the very long hallways, but to me its kind of the same as having a spread out resort like SSR or OKW. I don't mind the hallways, because the views from the distant rooms are really nice, even the standard views, as the further down the hallways means you are further away from the front entrance, and the standard views aren't bad at all. There are staircase exits along the hallways, so it's easy to get to the quiet pool, parking lot and walkway to MGM if you are a distance from the elevators. I've stayed in both - rooms close to elevators, rooms far from elevators, and I've never been unhappy with the locations or the views.
The kids will love the pool area and the boardwalk at night. There is strolling entertainment that the kids really draw to, such as magicians, jugglers, etc. There's face painting on the boardwalk in the evenings too, and of course, the bakery, and the sweet shoppe, as well as the arcade at ESPN, and bike and surrey rentals, community hall activities and the green lawn area where they play ball, etc. It's definitely enough to keep the family busy for a non-park day or two. We have eaten at ESPN, Spoodles and Big River Grille and have enjoyed all of them. Have a GREAT time, hope you have a wonderful Boardwalk experience.

Our "home" is BWV and we love it there! You will enjoy your stay a bunch, glad your expanding your circle! :)

My kids 6 & 2 1/2 enjoy the food and atmosphere of Spoodles. The nightly boardwalk entertainment acts is a lot of fun that your whole family will enjoy. My kids also enjoy the activities in community hall for a little diversion from the parks. And oh like others have said, don't do the surrey bikes!!!! They look fun, but are really hard to going up the hills!!!

I am already planning my January 2008 trip back to BWV (Boardwalk view studio reserved for 7 nights and plane tickets purchased!). We love it there. At the request of some friends for our Jan. 2007 trip, we split our stay between BWV and BCV. We really missed BWV so my DH and I agreed to spend Jan. 2008 at BWV. We just love the view, the pool (yes the clown slide is great! Our daughters - 7 and 12 love it) and I love getting my morning coffee at the bakery. And - we request to be WAY down the hall! :)

But, don't get us wrong. We really liked BCV and our friends who have been with us before preferred BCV. But for us, we just have a thing for BWV. So - again, DVC has many options for all types of people!

We love our BWV home!!! My dd, 13, loves Spoodles, especially for breakfast. And be sure the kids do Community Hall. There is a ton of stuff for them to do. There are arts and crafts that may cost a few dollars, but it's really nice to have the kids in the CH and you can relax beside the quiet pool, right outside!!

Those surrey bikes??? Nope, haven't done one and have no plans to do so. Each and every time we go, my dh ends up giving someone a push up the bridge area just past ESPN Club...every time. There is no way I'm putting myself through that kind of exercise!!!

We do love to walk over to BC and have breakfast at Cape May Cafe though. It's a good buffet that isn't usually overcrowded. And the characters tend to spend a bit more time at each table. Love it there.
