First, let me thank this board for all the information I've gleaned from the posts. This is my first trip following spine surgery that has left me paralyzed in my right foot. I also have numbness in my left knee and am very unsteady on my feet. I've actually fallen twice in the past few weeks :sad2:
We are just a few days away from our trip and I am so worried about exiting the rides. I am unable to climb or walk an incline. I use a cane for short transfers, but will be in an ECV the rest of the time. I don't want to miss riding rides I love, but I know some have moving walkways when exiting, etc.
Has anyone found this to be an issue? TIA for your help ;)

People mover has a steep moving sidewalk. HM has moving sidewalk that can be slowed or stopped. Peter Pan has a moving sidewalk for loading and unloading that can not be slowed or stopped. Little Mermaid has moving sidewalk for boarding and exit that can be slowed. Buzz Lightyear has moving sidewalk at exit that can be slowed and if you don't use a manual chair to go through the line will have a moving sidewalk to board. Pirates has a steep moving sidewalk but if you use a manual chair to go through the line you will be able to use the elevator. Spaceship earth has a moving sidewalk. Kali River has a moving sidewalk but you will load off to the side and won't use it. There probably are move but that is all I could think of.

Just be aware that CMs do not always stop the moving sidewalks when people ask, they will usually slow them down a bit but they're still kinda fast :(

Thank you all. I'm still learning how to deal with my limitations...still wanting to do Disney like I used to :worried: I appreciate your input :thanks:

SueM thank you for the link. Yes, very helpful information :thumbsup2

They tried to make me hobble up that one on crutches once when it wasn't moving - if you get stuck with some random doofus CM like I did, stand your ground and insist on being allowed to use the elevator!
