My sister does not want to ride Flight of Passage. However, if she wants to experience the line with us, can she exit the ride before we board? We’ve done FoP before using the Fast Pass line, so we’ve never actually seen the actual line. At what point would she exit and does it exit into the store? Thanks for any info.

Yes. My husband stayed in line with me and my daughter. When my daughter and I got on the ride vehicles, he walked through to the exit no problem. We just made sure the cast members knew he wasn’t riding and they showed him the exit (was my first time riding so we didn’t know the exits).

There is ALWAYS an "escape route" at the end of every line. You will never be forced to ride a ride.

I agree that there is always an option not to ride. I have severe motion sickness and cannot do quite a few rides at Disney. I can always wait in line with my daughter and am able to “pass” through.

If you recall when you rode it before, whether you were in the standby line or fastpass, the final cast member before entering the final room has a “last chance” warning for those who have a fear of heights or are prone to motion sickness. They are happy to escort anyone who doesn’t want to ride through the loading area to the exit.

I've taken the exit many times after going through the line with my party. I've just told the CM that I wasn't going to do the ride. You walk through the entire ride with your party and enter a room where you can wait for your party to exit. The room is just on the other side of the vehicle room. You are just a few feet away from your party. You wait there and when the ride is over, you will exit the building with everyone else. :)

Since there is so much good info here, can I tag on with a question?? DH sometimes needs a restroom like NOW, and the only trip where we rode FOP, he wasn’t along. Is there a bathroom anywhere semi-accessible within that queue? Or at the “chicken exit” waiting area? Obviously it’s super embarrassing for him to have to push through the queue all the way back out the entrance.

I thought there was a bathroom close to where they have the water fountain and water bottle refill station. in side the building.

yes. There is one inside of the building in the regular line.
It‘s after the water fountain/ water bottle filling area a bit before the line gets to the ‘lab‘ area.
