Existing Reservation with air & Switching to S/P/D?

A friend has a January AoA Cars suite booking for 3 nts. For this booking,k she also bought the air through the WDW site. They are essentially 4 adults- 2 real adults and 2 Disney adults (10, 13 kids). They paid full price. When the discounts are released next week, is she going to have a problem switching her existing reservation because of the air booking? I hope this isn't a problem for her. I told her to book air separate but she wanted everything in one place.

It shouldn't be a problem at all to change the package. The only issue is if she booked around a blackout date specifically MLK weekend. I try and wait for air fare until discounts are out if I'm traveling during a likely blackout period because often if you check in on Thurs you can get the deal but Friday you can't type thing.

No, it isn't a holiday week. She did the air because they are doing a cruise first and she wanted to be sure to get what she wanted in and out for 6 people.
