Have you taken an excursion that was not so great? What made it that way? Thanks!

We took the Charlotte Amalie Historical Walking Tour in St. Thomas--a great tour, unless you have children in a stroller or are mobility challenged. There are stairs, LOTS of them, and they are mostly made of rock and don't all have handrails. I would think it would be pretty boring for toddlers and younger kids, there's a lot of "don't touch" rooms in the Haagensen House, and tour narrative is on the dry side--although quite interesting if you are a history buff. It's not an "activity" type of tour with time to run off steam, and it's very structured.

The rum punch at the end is good though :)
