We are taking the repositioning cruise from Florida to California in May with DD(4). What excursions have people with children around DD's age done? I know the excursions are all new for this cruise, but I am interested in the types of activities parents did with their kids?

Thanks,
Laurie

when we went, our DSs were 2 & 4 at the time. we did the submarine ride, they enjoyed it, seeing all those fish & sea coral type thing. just getting into the submarine was a fun event in itself! the trolley ride was fun for them as well. it was like a city tour type excursion, where we rode in a trolley. they liked that. was not really listening to the tour guide (can you blame them??!!) but just seeing the sights out their "window" was fun for them!

i think it just depends of what you & your family likes to do. our DSs were just content sitting around and "observing"...not so much "doing". that that was just us. although they did enjoy CC! who doesn't right??!! will your repo cruise include a stop at CC? our DS 4 LOVED riding on that float thing. he sat on me, and i was on the float. at first, i was a bit nervous, since he didn't swim. but i made sure he held onto those handles, and i had my arms around him. he had a blast!

good luck with planning your excursions! :flower:

We thought that there were not enough excursions that you could do with someone younger than 5. Many of them seemed to have an age restriction of 5+. Not sure what excursions they are offering on the repo-crusises.
