Excursion to Jamaica

we rented a day room at the Hilton rose hall. it was about half hour to get there, we had an ocean view room, it was all inclusive and could not have been a better day.

what do you like to do?

We did the tranopy adventure through DCL and had a great time. It takes about 60 minutes to get to mystic mountain then we took the chairlift up the mountain, zip lined, did the bobsled run, had lunch, swam and had time to shop but was a long day and pricey, but we had a fantastic time. It also got us back to port in time to shop at the port.

The only bad part was my daughter had her iPhone under her leg on the bobsled and on one of the bumps/turns it got loose and fell to its presumed death in the forest below. She of course was devistated and crying so when we finished the Manager saw her crying, asked her what area it fell out in and sent staff to try to find it. 30 minutes later they returned with it!!!! Luckily she had a bright pink cover on it that they were able to spot. What really stuck out in my mind was how nice the workers there were at comforting her. She was visibly upset and the women kept coming over to us, hugging her and giving words of encouragement, they were amazing! I highly recommend this place. Just my $.02

For us, book Courtney Taylor Tours for Blue Hole, Tubing, Scotchies for lunch and beach. Best day ever!

In June we had Lindsay McFarland with SNL Jamaican Tours take us to Blue Hole and Scotchies. When we got to Blue Hole we had an area all to ourselves for quite some time. Found out later that the area we were in was not used by other tour operators such as Courtney Taylor Tours. Once we left the first area and headed up to the larger waterfall there was a large crowd.

Using SNL Jamaican Tours was worth it to have that time without others around. Lindsay is also very versed in history of Jamaica so it was like a history lesson on the 45 minute drive each direction.
