Excursion Questions

Hi All,

Okay, I'm getting ready to reserve my excursions on-line but before I do I have a few questions...

1) If I reserve now (105 days out)... when do I pay?
2) If I need to cancel... when would be my last chance?
2a) Is there a penalty for canceling?
3) Can you do more than one excursion on an island in one day?
4) Do all excursions start (or leave the ship) at the same time?
4a) Are there morning excursions? Are there afternoon excursions?

Should I be asking any other questions? Please feel free to share anything about excursions. I have never been on any... so it is all new to me.

You are not charged for the excursion until you take it. It will show up on your onboard account.

You have until 2 or 3 days before the cruise starts to cancel.

I believe that they do not offer refunds for last minute cancellations, though some have reported receiving credit for another excursion.

You cannot book anything that might over lap with another excursion.

Excursions leave at various times from the ship. You can check a navigator to see an example of the times, which can be found in the FAQ thread on this forum. There are usually excursions planned for both the morning and the afternoon.

We had to cancel an excursion for castaway cay the night before. They were unable to cancel it completely, but they did exchange it for the cheapest alternative (float rentals at $6).
