Excursion question

Looking at booking a 7 day cruise out of Galveston. The two choices go to Grand Cayman and Jamaica or Hondorus and Belize. I want to do the latter but it's about $1000 more. Is it worth it? What type of excursions are available at each?

A great place to find out about ports of call is the "ports of call" section on cruisecritic's message boards. They have info on about every port you can think of!

On Grand Cayman, we enjoyed swimming with the stingrays, and on Jamaica I would recommend the trek up Dunn's River Falls. Both are ship sponsored.

My suggestion would be the latter, if you have the money. If you don't the first option will be good, but I've done all 4 with Royal Carrib... and I hope to never go to Jamaica off of a cruise ship again, and Grand Cayman was nothing but shopping and stores... not much vactioning for me.
