Exclusive D23 Vinylmation Figures

Disney has announced that several limited edition Vinylmation figurines will be available at this year's D23 Expo. The figures will range in edition size and price with some starting at $13.95.

Similarly, the characters chosen for the figures are more obscure than one would expect. Gladstone Gander, who originated in a 1948 Walt Disney comic for instance, will be one of the LE figures.

Pluto's rival Butch, who debuted in 1940, will also be available.

The Disney Store, which is celebrating its 25th anniversary, will even have a special vinyl only sold at the Expo. It is limited to 2,500 pieces each complimented by a collector's pin.

I know that there are many Vinyl fans on the Unplugged board and thought I'd share. Which is your favorite?

Me too. Somehow I managed to avoid the Vinylmation bug, but those are very cool. If I was at the Expo I might weaken.

I like the Disney Store 25th anniversary version but I too don't want to get sucked into the Vinylmation trap. I'll save my money for an ABD trip

They are really cool....BUT...I won't let myself start another collection...I have enough to do with collecting/trading pins and I collect the license plates too

I won't even let myself look at them...it would be too easy to say, Oh, I'll buy just one.....and the rest would be history......
