Excluding the current testing - how have standby waits for Anna and Elsa been?

I read the article regarding the testing phase of FP only for Anna and Elsa...but just prior to that how have the standby lines been? It seems to be getting better from what I hear over the months...but I could kick myself that I forgot yesterday was my day to start making FP+ selections, so I didn't get to it until about noon. Boo. I got the Parade Fast Pass but missed out on Anna and Elsa. My kids are dying to see them but I don't want to waste three hours waiting in a line. An hour or even hour and a half I'll endure, but I have three kiddos one of which is a 3 year old so four hours isn't gonna happen! LOL

Thanks!

We were just there this past Saturday and Sunday....we never saw the standby lines above 90 min...

Yes, Josh at easywdw.com has reported similar times, especially after noon. That's one of the reasons I'm very surprised that they are doing this NotFastpass test. Plenty of rides get waits of 90+ in the middle of the summer. :confused3

This Tuesday the 22nd it was around 90+ minutes all day. Even after 10pm when we were getting ready to leave MK it was still 50 minutes.

Food for thought - it looks like you are going in September. Assuming that is correct I don't think you can predict the lines accurately at this point.

Right now the whole Frozen Summer thing is going on over at DHS (it is scheduled to stop Sept 1st but who knows what they will do). I think it is drawing some of the Anna / Elsa meet and greet folks. I know if I was a parent without a FP+ for them I'd make a big thing out of going to 'the event' with the kids and skip the meet / greet drama.

90 minutes isn't too bad, I can handle that - this is really good news!

YES! We are going in September which is why I have been keeping an eye on lines. The only downer is it's the last week of September and I believe in the last few days the food and wine festival begins so I hope that doesn't kick things back up. I would be beyond thrilled if they extended the event at DHS - fingers crossed! :)

It will also be interesting to see how the Halloween parties affect standby wait times. Maybe more will pass during the day in favor of seeing them at the party (I'm making an assumption they'll be there). Or maybe the lines will be longer because regular park hours will be shorter.

I was a WDW from July 9 to July 17. Everytime we walked past the stand by line, it was usually 80 to 90 minute wait. We had a FP+ thankfully but I don't think the 3 to 5 hour wait times are really happening anymore.

I was thinking this also. We are going to the Halloween Party the third night of our stay and I'm wondering if they will be there or not. When we went to the party two years ago and went to see the princesses it was pretty cool because they all had their princes with them.

That is great to hear - only a few months a go I was hearing about 3 hour wait times so that is a significant improvement. :) Thanks!
