I figured this crew would be able to share the good news that I just got...

I'm going to Orlando in November! A group of friends got tickets for the shuttle launch and so we're making a trip of it.

A couple of days at Disney (probably a day at MK and a day at Epcot) is our initial plan (plus a day at that OTHER theme park that has something to do with wizards :wizard:). But after visiting WDW in February 2009, I didn't think I'd be going back so soon!

Time to stop quietly lurking on the boards and get back to planning :cool1:

:cool1:

That is exciting news! Any thoughts on where you will stay?

I think we're probably going to stay offsite since we're doing enough non-Disney stuff that we're going to need a car anyway.

So far, I've found some really good prices at the Marriott timeshares.

Hi Missyrose,
Congrats! That sounds like a great trip.Have fun planning and a wonderful vacation.:thumbsup2

I will be down from November 14-19th. So excited! 98 days!

How did you get tickets already? The emails and stuff just went out and they read like this...

I would love what you have if its something different because we have tried and tried. Were on tons of NASA stuff for this and HS add ons.

On August 23, registration closes and registrants will be selected at random for the opportunity to purchase tickets. Those selected will be notified via e-mail by August 30.

Emagine, we got our tickets through someone who works at NASA. Hope you get your tickets!

Pmdeve, the shuttle launch is Nov. 1.

I am a little concerned about Jersey Week, but we'll be leaving that Thursday night so hopefully we'll get all of our park time in before the big crowds hit.

Exciting! We also made reservations on a trip we didn't have planned. We visited June 2009 & usually it is every two years. But the heat did us in during the June trip. I have never visited WDW during any holiday event. We are attending our first MVMCP on Nov. 16th. Dates at POP on 11/13 to 11/19:cloud9:

I'm going to move this to the happy dance board. Have fun planning.
