Excited...but nervous!!!!

OK, so if any of you have read my recent posts you know I'm headed to Universal this summer and on a 4 night cruise and I've actually been less excited about it because I'd always rather go to Disney but this is with the in-laws.

Anyway, I lost my dad last August, well, I convinced DH that Mom and I needed to get away alone since this would've been a big year for mom and dad, (45th anniversary and 65th b'day) so we are headed to F & W alone!! No kids!!! Just mom and I-for a girls weekend in October. I get to go to MNSSHP and F & W...we've never been to either because I'm a teacher and usually go in the summer. So I was able to surprise her the other night with our flight itineraries and a printout of F & W...she was so thrilled..It was an awesome moment for us. I had already talked to her boss and put in the days off for my work.

However, I still don't "technically" have my resale points yet...basically I have flights and nowhere to stay...I'm super excited and just wanted to share but keep fingers crossed I can make a res soon so I can stop panicking!!!! I even have a dinner res at La Cellier!!!!!

What a nice surprise. Here's some to help you with the reservations when your points are available for use.

Do you know after closing on your contract you can call MS about 5 days later to see if you points are available? There has been some delays because so many resales were purchased in March but hopefully it won't delay you too long.

Did you mother say which park she prefers or is she just willing to go with the flow? It sounds like a great girl's weekend.
