Exchanging vouchers for real tickets question

We have bought our Disney admission tickets through Thomas Cook (in order to buy the dining plan) but I don't know if we will get real tickets or vouchers to exchange(have asked the TA - usual problem of the answer 'I'm not sure!'. My problem is I was planning on doing Donalds Breakfastosaurus on the first morning but I've just realised that if we do get vouchers we won't be able to access the park until we've changed them to tickets. We should be arriving at the Yacht Club late afternoon/early evening (if all goes well) so does any one know if

a) Thomas Cook issue real tickets or vouchers
b) Where is the nearest place to exchange vouchers to real tickets in or around the YC

I don't really want to change my plans if I have to, I'd really got my heart (and itinerary) set on AK on our first full day.

Don't worry Lizzy - it'll all be straight forward, I did the same last year with TCD, on check in, the girl at the desk at POP just looked up and added it all to our room key, it was that easy, make sure you take your confirmation with you to show you've got the DDP and they will almost certainly be able to do the same. If not then due to jetlag you'll all be up and raring to go first thing the next morning so you've plenty of time to go to the guest services at the park the next morning. It really is no hassle and Disney are so good at sorting out any queries you have.

One thing though, if everythingis added to your room key make sure your room key goes no where near a digital camera/mobile phone as it may demagnetise which just means you'll spend extra minutes each day at guest services changing it for a new one

edited to add: there is a guest services at AK to get your tickets if they don't add it on to your room key

Wendy

When we are issued vouchers with Virgin, the check-in desk at CSR just add them onto the room key so they are activated straight away. Just wondering now if this is because we have a 14 day pass and are staying for the full days (does that make sense?!)

The only slight problem we did encounter with vouchers are when we stayed off-site and we had to take our passports with us.

With you staying at the YC i would imagine they will just add them to the room keys same as us;)

Thankyou ladies, we have ordered the 14 day ultimate tickets so hopefully the YC check in desk will put them on our room keys.

Wanted to go to 8am brekkie serving, just thought if there was guest services at AK they wouldn't be open in time to let us sort it out there!

Still got 7 1/2 months to go and the panic is starting!!!!!:rotfl2:

Just to let you know, CSR wouldn't add our tickets on to our room key, we had to exchange the voucher at guest services at the park. If this does happen to you, please don't worry, i had Donald's breakfast too at 8am, I just took the vouchers to the guest services window to the left of the turnstiles at AK, and it was open early enough to do it before breakfast, hopefully the hotel will have no problems just adding them to your key:thumbsup2

Wendy - we would love to go to Donalds Breakfastosaurus but the only thing that puts me off is the thought of going on Everest on a full stomach:rotfl2:
