Exchanging PH for AP, but where?

I purchased 5 day PH and I want to exchange them for an AP where can I do this? Do I need to do this before we check in since I received the AP discount? Thanks in advance for any help.

You can do this at any Guest Relations window at the major parks or at either of the two Guest Relations offices at DTD - one in the Marketplace and one in West Side.

You may or may not need to do it before check in. AP rate policy enforcement varies widely from CM to CM at the resorts.

Yes, it can be done at any guest relations window. One thing you should pay attention to is, make sure the CM dates the AP correctly. If the PH has not been used at all, the AP should be dated the day you do the upgrade, NOT the day you purchased the unused PH!! It has happened to us and I know two other people this has happened to.

My DD had an unused PH that was 10 months old. We upgraded it to an AP and we later noticed it expired in 2 months! Knowledgable CM's will fix this for you later...but is a bit of a hassle and rather unsettling when you initially see that the AP you just shelled out all that $$ for expires in less than a year.

We did this a week ago. I went to the Guest Services window at MK about 10 minutes before park opening. We upgraded 4 unused 7day PHs for 4 APs. The whole process took about 5 minutes and we just paid the difference. We got a Disney Club discount on the APs.

When you check into your resort, tell them what you plan to do and it should not be a problem. Have fun!
