Exchanges - SC Beaches

1) Does anyone know if the new Marriott resort (I think it is called Ocean Watch) at Myrtle Beach will be available for DVC exchange?
2) Has anyone exchanged for any of the Marriott resorts at Hilton Head? Are these exchanges easy to get? Are they easier to get than getting into HHI DVC if HHI is not your home resort?

I'm thinking we'd like to go to the beach for our vacation next year. My first choice would be DVC HHI of course, but I'm just wondering what other options there are, if we couldn't get into there.

yes the Marriott are availability at HH.

No, the Marriott at Myrtle beach (to my knowledge) is not in the DVC program yet. I don't think this resort is even opened so I don't think DVC will accept it until it is opened.

If you can get Marriott's Grande Ocean at HH - go for it - Dean owns there - and I don't think there is a more beautiful Marriott!

You might be able to do a direct exchange.

I don't think the Marriott in MB will be available for some time. I think the first building opens this summer and my guess is it'll be another year at least before it's included. Grande Ocean would be my first choice, with Barony second and DVC HH third. Of course summer will be impossible to get for HH other than maybe a direct exchange. Non summer shouldn't be that difficult if you search a full year in advance.
