Is anyone taking advantage of the great exchange rates this week. It seems to only be getting better. I can't wait to buy some Disney dollars, with my new US dollars. :) I can't believe last time we went to Disney the exhange rate was 1.49. My trip should cost us the same as it did 6 years ago with this current great exchange rate!

Might pick some cash now for my trip this fall

:cool1: :cool1:

We switch over enough money to buy our DVC contract we are waiting for ROFR. The exchange rate just pushed us over the edge to buy. Hopefully the dollar stays strong for a while.

lol explorer1977! We did the exact same thing. As soon as we made the offer on DVC we moved the money over. Now that we are through ROFR, we are just waiting for the closing papers.

We went in Jan 2003 - and paid $1.62!!!!! This time we are spluring on HRH was the last part of our trip....

Ouch! $1.62?? I had put a deposit down on our trip Sept 30 and phoned up a couple of days ago and put down about 2/3 of the money now. I think I will pay the rest of it early next week if the rate is still good. Our trip is much more reasonable than 2000. We got cheap flights from Seattle to Orlando - $330, we have some left over tickets with 6 days total plus 6 days of water parks on them, plus the free DDP. Oh yes, ME also. Then my sister in Seattle just called and asked if we wanted to stay with her, leave our car there, and she will drive us to the airport. I did not want to ask her as she goes to bed early, but hey, she offered. Pixie dust?? pixiedust:
